 Valery Ivanov 

Valerius (Valery) Ivanov was born on June 13, 1968 in Sibay, Bashkiria. He graduated from the Mukhina Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg in 1993 with a special accreditation in the field of architectural design. He is a member of the prestigious Russian Union of Artists. Valerius works with acrylic and gold leaf on canvas and often decorates his works with talismans and borders, for which he uses wood, cardboard and gold foil.

Valerius Ivanov is an artist and an organizer of the arts. He works as the director of the Galeri BLICK in Czech. Ivanov is the author of the project “Kingdom of Snail Lover” and a member of the project “Master Class” since 1996. His artwork has gained acclaim by being part of an educational program “Pat Masson Fine Art,” a Folk Fest in 1997 held at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Atlanta, GA. Since 1996, Ivanov has presented master’s art in the annual all-American congress of art teachers in Atlanta.

In the early 90s, Ivanov designed albums for DDT, a popular Russian rock band founded in the 1980s. He created the layouts of the two albums "Thaw" and "Actress Spring." He also took part in the DDT video clip "Rain".

Valerius's works are presented in 12 foreign galleries and a number of private collections in USA, France, Sweden, Japan, Norway, Finland, Czech, Germany, Nepal /Private collection of Late HM The King of Nepal Sri Panch Birendra Birbikram Shakh Dev; Private collection of HM The Queen of Netherlands – Beatrix.

In last 5 years Valerius took part in more than 40 exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
